All IN for Health

What is ALL IN for Health?
ALL IN is a program dedicated to improving the lives of Hoosiers by engaging them in health conversations with researchers and others to positively impact their health. This conversation includes sharing health resources and opportunities to participate in health research and clinical trials.
Who operates ALL IN for Health?
ALL IN is a non-profit campaign powered by the Indiana CTSI. The Indiana CTSI is a collaboration between Indiana University, Purdue University and the University of Notre Dame designed to improve health in Indiana and beyond.
How is Indiana a leader in health research?
Indiana is home to many leading health industry companies, such as Eli Lilly and Company, Roche, and Cook, as well as strong academic institutions with a large focus on the latest health discoveries, such as Indiana University School of Medicine, Indiana University, Purdue University, and the University of Notre Dame. The strengths of these companies, healthcare partners, and universities, along with invested local and state leadership contributes to an environment posed to lead new healthcare discoveries and initiatives.
Why does Indiana need to be healthier? What’s wrong?
According to the 2016 America Health Rankings, Indiana ranks 39th out of 50 states overall in health. This means as a state, Hoosiers, in general, are not very healthy. Our major health disparities are smoking, infant mortality, cancer deaths, diabetes, cardiovascular deaths, physical inactivity, premature death rate, obesity, and pain management.
How do you plan to make Indiana healthier?
We plan to increase awareness and understanding of individual health issues while also strategizing with Hoosiers on how we can improve the health of people living in Indiana. This awareness includes letting Hoosiers know about new initiatives and research studies that aim to positively impact health.
Why should I be involved?
We need your input! We want to make the best choices for what to research, and how to do it, by hearing what’s important to you, your family, and your community.
